Does the 847E26 chassis support SATA-3 hard drive?

The backplane supports the SAS-2 hard drive at speed of 6Gb/s. The SATA-3 hard drive has the same speed as the SAS-2. The circuit shall support SATA-3 alright. However, we just received the hard drives for testing, as of June, 2010. We are in progress of validating the SATA-3 hard drives to make sure it’s fully compatible with 847E26 chassis.
