I have a X7SBL-LN1. BIOS rev 1.2a. I am using two sticks of "Kingston KVR800D2E5/2GI 2GB 800MHZ DDR2 ECC CL5" installed in DIMMS 1A and 1B but are not reported as ECC in memtest86+ or dmidecode. Please advice.

Answer
The attached BIOS updated ECC status into SMBIOS Type 16. Memtest should not be able to recognize ECC status from chipset.
