Why is my add-on SAS controller card model AOC-USAS-L8i not being detected by my X7SB3 motherboard after inserting the card into the slot?

Please update your BIOS using this file: http://www.supermicro.com.tw/~johnnyliao/X7SB3.zip; refer to your motherboard manual for instructions on updating the BIOS.
