A. Ports 1 through 10 are the external ports. Ports 11 through 24 are internal ports connected respectively to Blades 1 through 14. This is a “fixed” mapping. The only way to get two separate 1G connections to each blade is to provide two (redundant) SBM-GEM-001 switches. The Blade has a two-port 1G Ethernet NIC chip on it and each of those ports is routed separately through the midplane to a different switch.
