Question
My customer is asking about iSCSI issues, pls help me to solve it as I'm not familiar with iSCSI.
Below is his message :
as lan1 supports iscsi boot, how to make it work? i do not know where to fill in the iscsi server hostname, LUN, etc?
Besides this, he has a question on RAID issues.
In bios setting, he selects Adaptec instead of Intel RAID, so how can he know and monitor the RAID system under Linux? Something like Intel Rapid Storage
Technology (Windows OS) to control the RAID. "

Answer
In BIOS setup page, you need to do the setting as below.

Advanced>>PCI/PnP Configuration>>Onboard LAN1 Option Rom Select=> Change to iSCSI

Also, enable the 2 Onboard LAN Option Rom right below the option above....Then save the change and reboot.

When boot up, you can see the instruction "Press Ctrl+D" to enter setup page, then you can setup iSCSI.

For the Adaptec Storage Management software for Linux, you can download in below link.
