Question
I have X8DTN+ motherboard and tried to install Redhat Enterprise 6.0. The installation stopped and gave error message at the section on hard drive partition.

"An error occurred mounting drives /dev/mapper/VolGroup-Iv_home as /home: mount failed: (9, None). Thie a is a fatal error and the install cannot continue.

Press to exit the installer."

I also tried to setup the partition manually. Still received error message. Why I cannot install Redhat 6?

Please run low level format on the hard drive(s). The issue is caused by the hard drive having been installed raid or OS before.
