On your chassis with double and triple redundant power supplies, are all power supplies active and supplying power?
For instance if I had one of your chassis with three 500w power supplies will they supply up to 1500w? Or is it 500w and if one fails another 500 takes over and so on?
I am not sure if you offer a 500 but the above is just an example so I can understand how this works.
Our power supply has power sharing. All modules are active during operation. However, the wattage does not necessary add up together beyond the rating.
For example, a 500W 1+1 redundant power supply cannot become 1000W. But each individual module can provide 500W.
