We are currently using a Supermicroserver to run the IPMIView to access our servers. Since it runs in a “virtual” environment we are unable to “share” the server list configuration between each other. Since we have so many in the field, it would be nice for one person to add all the devices to the tool and copy that list between each of our accounts.
Where does IPMIview store all the “config settings” so we can copy this between each of the users.
Browse thru your HDD:
C:\Program Files\SUPERMICRO\IPMIView
Look for file
IPMIView.properties
You can view this file with wordpad as well.
Copy and paste this file on to desired server where you want to copy the list.
