Question
I received the X8DTL-I board back from RMA department and it still experiencing the same issue. The board is overheating and the system shuts down by itself. I have added a fan to the IOH heat sink and it will work fine, the point is in your system 6016T-MR will overheat and the other 150 boards do not need a fan on the IOH heat sink to work properly.

If this is a single case, it may be related to the poor contact b/w the heat sink and IOH. From the picture shown below, can you remove the IOH heat sink and scrap off the thermal tape then apply with thermal grease compound and see it help.
