Why my X8SIU-F motherboard boots up no problem with the Intel Xeon L3426 processor but it doesn’t boot with the Xeon L3406?

It seems like you are using an ECC registered memory. The Xeon L3406 processor is a dual-core LGA1156 processor, which it only supports ECC unbuffered x8 memory modules.
