Question
I have a server SuperServer 6025B-3R:
http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/2u/6025/sys-6025b-3r.cfm

with raid adapter AOC-LPZCR3:
http://www.supermicro.com.tr/AOC-LPZCR3.cfm.htm
A have a raid 5 inside with 3 HDD + 1spare using seagate enterprise ST350032 500GB (each hdd).

Because we need more space I buy new hdd and I have problem to detect it.
SEAGATE SATA 2TB 7200RPM 6Gb/S 64MB Constellation ES.2 (ST32000645NS)

and the "initialize" option is inactive.

I have also tried from dos program and for "initialize" option the hdd are not listed. In disk utility I can see it and I can use format option.

I have tried with several hdd drives (wd 1TB sata2, ST80GB,..etc), and is working whit this model is not.

Please can you help me and tel us if is a compatibility issue or a setup issue. Maybe a firmware update can solve this issue (i cannot see a new version on your site), or reinstall of firmware (with reinstall option the old raid will be affected?)

Answer
This card has been phased out end of life, there is no newer firmware available, nor will there be new update/firmware.

And the HDD you used is 6 Gbps, this card only supports 3 Gbps speed.
