Question
I put some 3TB hard drives into the drive bays on X7DVL-3 motherboard. The problem is that the machine detects the drives as 800 odd GB instead of 3TB or close there to. Do I need to update firmware or bios or something?

Answer
Both on board controllers ESB2 for SATA and LSI 1068E for SAS do not support 3TB HDD.
