We would like to know what type of SDRAM would provide the highest performance for your H8QMi-2 AMD motherboard. With 667MHz SDRAM, we are seeing 2287-2300MB/sec, which does not seem very high.
First of all, performance is related to the CPU as well. When the system is fully populated with 32 DIMMs, you memory speed will drop from 667MHz to 533MHz, which is why you see the erformance drop a bit. If you instead use just 4 memory modules per CPU your memory will run at the full 667MHz. (Populate DIMMs 1A/B + 2A/B, which are the furthest slots away from each CPU).
