Question
Using X7DA8 with Windows7/Server 2008 R2 installed on onboard SATA. OS installation runs verry slow and once installed the os takes 15 minutes to boot. The onboard floppy controller is disabled as this could cause the issue also but still the issue occurs. What can cause the problem ?

Answer
This issue can occur on any system with onboard SCSI Adaptec AIC-7902. But it only happens when no devices are connected on the onboard SCSI controller. To solve the issue, please disable the SCSI controller in the Windows device manager or disable via mainboard Jumper.
