I am using Windows 2008 server platform. How can I use IPMItool or IPMIUtil to get status from BMC when I am operating the Windows 2K8 Server OS?

You can download Intel IMB driver from http://ipmiutil.sourceforge.net/kern/imbdrv-130.zip and open cmd and set the command "DeviceSetup.exe -v install IMBDrv.inf *IMBDRV" to install the driver under the driver folder. Then you can use ipmiutil to check the ipmi functions
