Question
I have an X7SPA-HF board and the IPMI connection will be lost if you follow the sequence below.
1. Power off using IPMIview.
2. Power on using IPMIview.
How can this be resolved?

This could be cause if the power supply 4-pin connector is connected to the motherboard. Please check if you have plugged in the 4-pin external power connector from power supply to the connector at J8. That connector is for motherboard to supply power to CD drive or hard drive, not for getting power input from power supply.
