Question
We’re using an X8SIL-F motherboard and are running into an issue with the IPMI. The problem is once Slackware Linux boots, we can no longer use the keyboard. The keyboard works fine in the BIOS and during POST but once the OS boots it does not work. Do you have any suggestions to solve this?

Answer
It looks like the OS kernel does not have USB support. Update the kernel with USB support and it will solve the issues
