I am using AOC-USAS-S8iR card with X8DTU-F main board. I have installed Windows 2008 R2 edition and created 2.72TB Raid 5 volume. The issue is that Windows is not able to see my volume in disk management. Adaptec storage manger sees the array. How can I solve this issue?

Adaptec storage manger is seeing your array so this looks like a driver issue. Please manually update the S8iR device driver from windows and override all messages and warnings. This will solve the issue. After you have done this windows disk management should be able to see it. You need to convert it to GPT in order for you to use any volume larger than 2TB in windows.
