Question
I installed Windows 2008 R2 64-bit onto the X8DT6-F motherboard without any problems, but I cannot get network connection. I checked the LAN ports, and the activity LED was blinking. Also, the LAN ports are correctly recognized in the device manager. Why cannot I get a link?

Please do not use the embedded driver but install the latest Intel LAN driver from our FTP site. The driver will solve your issue. You can download the driver from below link:
https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/LAN/Intel/PRO_v15.3.zip
