I have a server X7DBE with IPMI SIMLP-B+. I set up the IPMI email alert but it does not work when my power supply has problem. Please advice.

Answer
The IPMI email alert will be triggered by only those items being monitored in the system health such as CPU overheat. You can check your system health and probably power supply is not on the list.
