We have one of the new chassis 847E1-R1400LPB. The fans are not slowing down completely. Is there a way to slow them down?

Answer
Some of the fans are connected to the backplane. You have to disconnect those fans from the backplane and get extension cables to connect them to the motherboard. Make sure your motherboard has seven fan headers. The backplane FAN jumpers also must be set to disable. The CBL-0296L can extend the Fan cable by 22.8 cm. You can order these from our RMA department.
