I have a question on H8DG6-F motherboard as we build our system around it; the just released BIOS ver H8DG61.908 supports Opteron 62xx CPUs. Correct?

Yes, the BIOS H8DG61.908 supports 61xx(=Magny Cours) & 62xx (=Interlagos)CPU both. As a reminder, when flashing BIOS from 1.x to 2.0, they have to unplug the systems for 30 seconds.
