I have a Super Micro X6DH3-G2 motherboard running the most up-to-date BIOS available on your web site (R 2.0C). When I install either one or two Intel Xeons 7120Ms of the dual-core "Tulsa" variety (SL9HC), the machine does not POST. Your web site claims that the X6DH3-G2 supports the "Paxville" dual-core architecture, and since "Tulsa" is simply a 65nm improved version of Paxville, I assumed that it would work. Does this motherboard not support this line of Xeon CPUs? Is only Paxville DP supported? What about Paxville MP? If I buy two Xeon 7041 SL8UD (A0) Paxville MPs, will these work instead?
The Intel 7120 is "MP" version and not supported on X6DH3-G2 motherboard. The Paxville is "DP" version, not "MP" version. The Xeon 7041 SL8UD "MP" is also not supported on X6DH3-G2 motherboard. If you need to use Intel 7120 Tulsa processor, you need to use Quad Xeon Socket CPU motherboard such as X6QTE+ and X6QT8 motherboard.
