Question
To clarify the issue here, does it mean the UIO AOC-USAS2LP-H8iR Raid controller would not be working properly on the X8DTH-IF motherboard - even working just like a PCI-Express add-on card? (since the two interfaces are similar physically). In other words, would the AOC-USAS2LP-H8iR be working on the X8DTH-IF just like the AOC-SAS2LP-H8iR?

In theory both interfaces are the same but UIO card backward circuitry and the component on backside of the card and the bracket will not mount correctly onto the standard chassis I/O expansion slot.
