Question
I have Mainboard H8QGL-iF and Tower 748TQ-R1400B. But I can’t find the AMD Chipset-Driver for SR5690/70. Only the 5100-Raid-Driver is available. Is it not required to use the 5690 Chipset-Driver? On AMD Website I can’t find an SR5690 Driver either.

For Linux, 2.6.33+ kernel supports all SR56x0 and SP5100 SATA/AHCI device drivers. For Windows, Server 2008 SP1’s inbox drivers enable all SR56x0/SP5100 devices. But newer proprietary AHCI driver is also available on www.AMD.com.
