Question
The IPMI manual says it supports SSH/SSL but doesn't say which. What does the embedded AMI IPMI and the AOC SIMLP-B+ support?

Answer
The X8 embedded IPMI supports SHA-2 and RSA 2048 bit. The AOC supports SHA-1 and RSA 2048 bit.
