I purchased a 2027TR-D70QRF instead of a 2027TR-D70RF or 2027TR-D70RF+ not because we needed InfiniBand, but because the product page on your site says:

Note: In order to support the LSI RAID Controllers, both CPU socket must be populated
Which led us to believe that RAID within the hot-swap bays would function at the hardware level. It does not, as this card (BPN-ADP-E16-L) comes in IT mode. Can I get IR mode firmware for the BPN-ADP-E16-L (SAS2008)? If not, what else could I do to get hot-swap HW RAID like I thought I was getting?
The server is pre-configuration with on-board LSI 2008 SAS controller as IR firmware support Host Raid (like software raid) level support 0, 1 and 10. If you like to have raid level 5 support, you need add optional raid 5 key. This server design with daughter support and does not supported with third party raid controller with cabling.
