We have a SC836E chassis and when booting the system we get power supply and fan errors from our LSI controller log like:
Controller ID: 0 Fan removed on enclosure: Port 0 - 3:1 Fan 3
Controller ID: 0 Power supply removed on enclosure: Port 0 - 3:1 Power Supply 2

You need to flash the backplane with FW 55.14.11.0 and MFG 2.36 or up, and need to close the jumper to JP_FAN_FAIL_LED. It is necessary to connect the FANs with the BPN, not the Motherboard.
