I have a 1022G-URF. How can I monitor the power supply’s fan speed?

Answer
First, make sure the power supply PMBus cable is connected to JPI2C connector on the motherboard. Please follow below steps.
1. Download SMCIPMITool from this link. https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/utility/SMCIPMItool/
Click windows if you’re running windows. Click Linux if you’re running linux.

2. Unzip the file

3. On windows, open a command window and go to SMCIPMITool directory you unzipped to. On Linux, open a terminal and go to SMCIPMITool directory you unzipped to.

4. The command for power supply status is “pminfo”. Ex: On linux, you put ./SMCIPMITool pminfo. On windows, you put SMCIPMITool pminfo.

5. Look up for fan speed.
