I have question for SBM-XEM-F8X4SM, why is there no Point-to-Point Connection between this switch (FC-port, N_Port) and a Storage Unit (FC-port, N_Port as well) possible? Does it have to do with the NPIV functionality?

The connectivity out of our F8X4SM switch is Native FC (not 10GbE) but we don’t support direct connectivity to storage system.
It is a system limitation on the protocol side where we support only n_ports.
