Question
On the 2026T-URF4+ SuperServer systems with L5640 processors, the BIOS settings are set at Intel C-stated (enabled) and C-State package limit at C6. However, the platform is not going into Package C-3 or C-6, hence the high idle power. At idle the lowest wattage I’m seeing is 135W. This is almost 25W higher than what is expected. Is there some other BIOS setting I need to set to invoke C-States?
