Question
When attempting to use the Intel Xeon processor X3430 on an X8SIL-F motherboard with the 4GB Reg-ECC RAM modules, beeping and LED flashing say that the processor is not supported. The memory module used is the HMT151R7BFR4C-H9. Please advise.

The memory module HMT151R7BFR4C-H9 is not supported by Intel 3400 processors because it is x4 module. Here you can find Intel's list of supported memory types. All modules should be used with a x8 device.
