Are there any drives or update/upgrade for the LSI 1068E? We need it for VMWare 4.1 . Or is VMWare 4.1 not compatible with the LSI 1068E?

Answer
You need to change the firmware of LSI 1068E from SR to IT (HBA, without RAID). VMware does not have a driver for LSI 1068E SR mode.
You can get the IT firmware from our ftp site: https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/SAS/LSI/1064_1068/IT/
