On the PDSxx and X7Sxx series motherboards with the AOC-1UIPMI-B IPMI controller, does the IP address of the IPMI controller have to be the same as the IP address of the on-board LAN1 port?

Since the PDSxx and X7Sxx series motherboards use Intel LAN chips, the user need to set the IP address to be the same as that of the on-board LAN1. Please refer to page 4-4 of the manual:
