Question
i have some questions to you according to the remote KVM supported from the Supermicro boards. (in this special case X7SPA)
We found out that when a remote KVM session is started a separate connection (TCP port 5900) will be opened.
When using https to connect to the Remote Management Interface will the TCP 5900 connection (through the remote KVM session) also be encrypted?
If the traffic won’t be encrypted is there a possibility to configure an encryption for this connection? Or is there an option to integrate the traffic to the existing https connection?

Answer
By default our KBD/Mouse packets are encrypted using SSL. Video is not encrypted .
