Question
I have a X8DTi-LN4P (rev.2.01) and BIOS V2.0 with CPU XEON E5620 (2 st). When i try to install windows 2008 R2, it goes verry slow, and even stop's sometimes. I'll tried anything, 1) Two CPU’s with two RAM modules in slot 1A
2) One CPU with one RAM modules in slot 1A.
3) Another Power Supply.
4) Another DVD drive and DVD disk.
5) Installation direct on seagate SATA HDD connected to onboard controller (without Areca).
6) Windows 2008 R2 St.
7) Another RAM manufacture. But nothing helps..

If your bios build date is from before 30-8-2010 please update. There is support in this bios for install win 2008 R2 release.
