Can X8ST3-F with onboard LSI SAS1068E control 24 HDDs of SC846E1-R1200B?

The on-board LSI 1068E SAS controller can only support up to 8 hard drives and cannot expand up to 24 hard drives. You need to have third party Raid Controller card with expander chipset support up to 128 or more drive devices.
