You will need to flash the controller to IR mode. The firmware and driver are located at this ftp location.

1. Extract the files from the zip file and Copy them to a DOS bootable USB stick.
2. Boot up the system using the USB stick.
3. At the command prompt type L8i.bat to start the firmware update to IR mode
4. When prompted, enter the 16 digit (64-bit) SAS address
5. Power cycle the system after flashing is completed.
