We have added X8DTL-3F, BIOS (as mentioned above) the following 3TB hard disks and they are recognized as 2199.0 GB. (connect to on board SAS device)

Correctly 1068/1078 does not support over 2TB.
When you install 3TB they will recognized as 2TB.
