Can you tell me the efficiency of PWS-201-1H, at around 30W. I'd like to know the approximate efficiency of this supply when used with the X7SPA-HF motherboard. I'd like to be able to evaluate whether I should replace it with something more efficient.
The efficiency of PWS-201-1H is around 84% on 120Vac and 82% on 230Vac. The PWS-201-1H's internal fan will not spinning at the low loading condition like 30W. There will be no air circulation to the processor, and hence will raise the thermal concern. We don't recommend using PWS-201-1H with X7SPA/E series motherboards.
