I have a X8DT6-F motherboard. The on-board LSI SAS 2008 controller cannot detect the 6gps 3TB hard drives. How to solve the issue?

It is possible that the controller firmware is too old. Please go to the following link to update the firmware https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/SAS/LSI/2008/IR/Firmware/PH11.0/Non_Blade/PH11.0.zip
