Why is updating the IPMI firmware from DOS mode slower than using the browser? I thought it would be faster if I update it directly, rather than over LAN?

Updating the IPMI firmware from a DOS USB using the dupdate.exe utility is slower because it uses the KCS interface. In most case, it is 2-3 times faster to update IPMI through the web browser.
