I have an X8DTH-iF and I can't mount the virtual media. The IPMI and the CIFS server are on the same subnet. I made sure the image is not corrupted, it can mount on my other machines and is the correct format. I also tried IPMIView and it says “Cannot redirect CD image Connection refused: connect”. I made sure the path is correct in the browser already. I ssh'd into the IPMI and can see that multiple attempts have been made to mount the image! So IPMI can see the virtual media, but in the web GUI and IPMIView still shows the error, what is happening?

Please change the CD port to 5120 and the Http port to 80 in the IPMI config. For some reason, your IPMI ports are incorrect and that is blocking the virtual media function.
