Question
I have X7DWA-N motherboard, I try to rebuild my system by installing Windows XP OS, the setup screen, choosing installing 3rd party SCSI or raid driver by pressing F6, selecting the RAID driver to install, It shows to choose one from the 4 choices below.
ICH7R DH SATA controller
ICH7MDH SATA controller
ICH8R/ICH9R/ICH10R/DO/5series/3400 SATA controller
ICH8M-E/ ICH9ME/ 5 series SATA controller
When using X7DWA-N, which will be the proper one to choice, since on your website, the description of X7DWA-N, it didn’t show what SATA controller it has.

Answer
If your hard drive previously created raid level under Adaptec Codebase Firmware then first you need to delete raid under Adaptec Codebase firmware. Go into the BIOS setting to change Adaptec Codebase Firmware to Intel Codebase firmware then go to Intel Raid BIOS menu setup to create raid.
To specify the driver with F6 command, you need to select ESB2 SATA Raid driver as shown in box below.
