Question
The H8SGL board has an older PCB revision 1.00A unable detect Areca 1882ix RAID controller card. However newer revision 1.01 will able to detect it. They both run the same BIOS (tested with 1.1b and 2.0b). Replace old motherboard with newer PCB revision?

Please remove or open up the JI2C1 and JI2c2 pins jumper. It will solve the issue.
