I have a system that is based on Asus F1A55-M LE motherboard AMD 3400 processor + 16GB DDR3 AM 2 x Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 controllers. This system works fine if I run under Linux. I was thinking of setting the setup as an unRAID media server and it appears to work fine if that is all I want to do as that is Linux based.

However I would like the system to be dual purpose and be able to dual-boot into Windows 7 Pro. My problem comes when I try and run the system under Windows 7 Pro SP1. Everything works fine if I do not try and install any drivers for the SASLP-MV8 boards. Initially they show in Windows Device Manager as unidentified devices. However if I try and install drivers for them Windows goes through the process of installing the drivers, and then immediately after claiming to have successfully installed the drivers the system Blue Screens on me. It then continues to Blue Screen on re-booting – even if I try and go into Safe Mode. I have to revert to a Restore Point to get the system operational again.

The SASLP-MV8 boards when booting display a message that they are using Bios 3.1.0.21
The Drivers are from the supplied CDR-SASLP-MV8 Revision 1.01 CD.
Is it possible to get these boards working under Windows 7?
