Question
I want to know any reason we cannot use 1600 series CPU in DP board (dual-socket 2011)? UP board (single-socket 2011) can use both 1600 & 2600 series CPU. Their chipsets are the same C602. Please advise.

1600 CPU is for UP only. They don't have the QPI bus to communicate like the 2600 does.
