We have your 771 socket heat sink for X7DVL board which works fine, but when I tried to use it on your X7DWA, it does not work, they have same socket, is there anything I am missing?
The reason it works on X7DVL is because it’s ATX form factor board which we include a retension module by default:
One (1) CPU Retention Module (SKT-0159-for retail and bulk packaging)
But X7DWA is E-ATX form factor which we do not include such.
For E-ATX form factor motherboard, the CPU heat sink must mount directly to chassis stand-off, see the link below.
