Question
I have a X7DA8 motherboard with a single 1TB HDD which has Windows XP installed. The motherboard has issues booting to the 1TB HDD intermittently and it is caused by the BIOS that fails to recognize the HDD. The problem does not occur if a 750GB HDD is used. Do you have a BIOS fix for this problem?

Answer
Some HDD’s take longer time to initialize during boot up and fail to be recognized by the BIOS. Please use the attached BIOS (X7DA8 HDD-Delay) that has the “HDD Pre-delay” option implemented. This delay can be changed and calibrated to suit that system.
