Why does the X8DTN+-F motherboard have a maximum of 196 GB when it can use 16GB DIMMs?

Currently all 16 GB DIMMs on our website are quad rank. Quad rank memory modules have a limit of only 12 DIMMs; therefore, though the motherboard has 16GB DIMMs, it can only support 196 GB.
